The Approach Pathway

Strong Philosophy

We expect our sides to efficiently play the ball through the thirds, using minimal touches and good ball manipulation in tight spaces where necessary. The team should dictate the game through possession and controlling its tempo.

Academy Signings

We are very proud of the fact that as a club, such a large number of our players have been signed by academies in recent years. A total of 21 boys have been signed, indicating that our club provides a great pathway for its players.

Vast Opportunities

TAP FC provides players with the ultimate opportunity which all grassroots players seek: to play in front of academy coaches and scouts. As a club, we have played against 34 academies in recent seasons.

Advanced Tech

We expect the players of TAP FC to embody our core philosophy by also being very adaptive in their training methods. This includes taking a lot of the key learnings from lab sessions and looking to apply them to the high level coaching out on the pitch.

Here at TAP FC, we are so proud of the fact that so many boys from our set-up have been signed by professional academies. We believe that by installing essential values from our ethos into the boys upon joining, they are well-equipped to take their game to the next level, which naturally attracts the attention of some of the best clubs around. As you can see from the photos above, players have been signed at clubs such as Barcelona, Arsenal and Fulham amongst many other clubs.

Nasrat Nasi

Arsenal FC Under 16

Nas signed from TAP FC to Arsenal in 2024 and is emerging as one of the country’s top young defensive talents.

Jude Berro

FC Barcelona Under 15

Jude signed from TAP FC and now plays for Barcelona’s academy, developing into a highly technical young defender.

Beau Redknapp

Brentford FC Under 18

Beau joined TAP FC before signing for Brentford in 2024, where he earned a scholarship as a creative midfielder.

Chris Cohalan

Brentford FC Under 18

Chris progressed from TAP FC to Brentford, earning a scholarship and showcasing his versatility across defence and midfield.

Hence, players at our club get a regular opportunity to play against academy sides, playing against the best players, with top scouts and coaches at the respective clubs watching on. As a club, we have played against 34 academy sides in the past four seasons.
