WHAT WE DO

The Academy Player is one of the fastest-growing football technical trainers in Europe, which really focuses on developing the technique of all players - from grassroots to the Premier League. We believe that technique is a massively important component to a performer in the modern game, although it is commonly not worked on enough by players to help them develop their game to the next level. Hence, with our unique facilities as well as our all original drills, we focus on bringing the ability of a player to the next level through our training sessions. In our sessions, we put great emphasis upon using skills which are transferrable into match realistic situations, as well as developing other components to a performance such as decision making and awareness.

OUR JOURNEY

We started off in 2017 with our head coach and owner of UK, Jack Gostelow, and head coach and owner of USA, Ali Simmons, who established The Academy Player in London and New Jersey. With their excellent knowledge about football, coaching, and the academy football system, Jack and Ali have established a global brand, and a growing collection of their own drills helping to bring the best out of their players, whilst influencing hundreds of thousands of others via their major social media presence on Instagram.
